I am looking for a way to display tables in Joomla - up to 10 rows by 150 columns.
Does DropTables have the ability to;
Different individual color cells
Adjustable row/column sizes
Different font color per cell
Merging cells
Scroll bars - vertical and horizontal
Hyperlinks - I assume a hyperlink can be placed in any cell?
Printing a table
Can a table be downloaded to CSV or Excel, or saved to PDF?
Thanks
Bill

#2876 Hi,
OK here's my replies and limit you may encounter:
Different individual color cells >> Yes you can do that
Adjustable row/column sizes >> Yes you can do that
Different font color per cell >> Yes you can do that
Merging cells >> Yes you can do that
Scroll bars - vertical and horizontal >> Yes you can do that, it depends of the responsive mode you enable, it can be scrolling or column hiding with priority
Hyperlinks - I assume a hyperlink can be placed in any cell? >> Yes you can do that
Printing a table >> It's not Droptables related, more something handled by your browser. There's no dedicated CSS layout for print
Can a table be downloaded to CSV or Excel, or saved to PDF? >> Yes in xls from admin, there's an export option
Hope it helps.
Cheers,

#3296 Hi,
You have to switch cell format to HTML and use the editor.
Note that link is added to content in the cell not to the cell itself.

#3337 Hi,
The link manager and editor haven't change but you can activate "article" button to make links to Joomla articles.
it has to be done through the component configuration.

#3364 Hi Tristan,
Quick question. How can I get the articles that I hyperlink from the droptable to appear on there own and not surrounded by the modules that are on the homepage? For example, clicking on a hyperlink created in the droptable in my conference page brings the reader to this page:-
http://topsidesuk.com/32-conference/speakers/323-steve-moir-engineering-manager-sky-futures
I'm wanting just the article to appear on a new page but not in the format as the homepage.
Can you help?
Regards,
Gavin

#3368 Hi,
This is not a question related to Droptables but to Joomla. When you create a link to an article that don't have any menu link that point on it all the modules that are affected to All pages or All pages except are loaded. The trick is to create an hidden menu that point on this article or a category of article and setup the modules you want to display.
