I have version 1.2.6 and need additional features - which plan should I check out?

I would like to add text and links to galleries, a feature which doesn't seem to be available in drop pics 1.2.6 What is the simplest upgrade/plan purchase I can make to add that functionality to existing galleries as well as any new ones I create?
