Hi,

I have two questions for dropfiles for a new project:

1. I have read that I can set tags for files. These tags are the Joomla tags from components - Tags?

2. If I restrict access for a file to registered users: Do logged-out people see these files? Only download is restricted? Or is the icon/name view also hidden?

Yes, that is Joomla tags.

2. If I restrict access for a file to registered users: Do logged-out people see these files? Only download is restricted? Or is the icon/name view also hidden?

Yes, you can give access permission for single user but it the files will be hidden completely. Currently, you can hide the download function for category only.
