FTP file upload and DropFiles

I have a FTP sync between a local system and a website directory.

Will DropFiles recognize and incorporate a newly uploaded file? I don't want to have to import each time a file uploads.

No, the sync feature is not implemented yet. You can use The Cloud (Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive) to sync your data.
