NOTE. I was told to write here after writing to support chat. So the question under here I more if there is a way to custom implement this or if you will consider implementing my suggestion in Dropfiles
Hi
I have an, for me, essential pre-sales question
Does dropfiles & Droppics have the possibility to set a dynamic filepath like this images/content_images/users/[authorname]/ to get this file path images/content_images/users/DSFofficerskatecity.dk/ ... note that the [authorname] is the email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. where the @ is stripped
This is an essential feature for me to allow my users to use dropfiles but without seeing each others folders
For info this filepath tag system is from zoolanders featured in their upgraded image and file elements for ZOO.
The following variables can be used to create dynamic paths:
[username] - Will be replaced with the user username
[userid] - Will be replaced with the user ID
[usergroup] - Will be replaced with the user group eg: super_users
[usergroupid] - Will be replaced with the user group ID eg: 8
[authorname] - Will be replaced with the Item Author username
[authorid] - Will be replaced with the Item Author user ID
[authorgroup] - Will be replaced with the Item Author user group eg: super_users
[authorgroupid] - Will be replaced with the Item Author user group ID eg: 8
[year] - Will be replaced with current year, eg: 2010
[month] - Will be replaced with current month number, eg: 06
[day] - Will be replaced with the day number, eg: 10
[zooapp] - Will be replaced with ZOO Item App Instance name, eg: blog
[zooprimarycat] - Will be replaced with current Item Primary Category, eg: typography
[zooprimarycatid] - Will be replaced with current Item Primary Category ID, eg: 4
[zooitemtype] - Will be replaced with current Item Type name, eg: article
[zooitemid] - Will be replaced with current Item ID, eg: 145
[zooitemalias] - Will be replaced with current Item alias, eg: myitem
The zoo tag paths is ok if you dont support. I can live without them. The most essential is the [authorname] as described
Do you support the dynamic filepath?
If no ..Would you consider implementing this?
I look forward to hear from you
