Good afternoon. Very interested dropfiles component, have a few questions.

I saw this component from a friend and he had problems with SEO.
He puts the files in the content, as search engines do not willingly index type references files/138/category/372/Название файла
Firstly they give the robot 303 server response
secondly if the language is changed to show Russian Russian URL like .../инструкция по эксплуатации.pdf
which is not very good for SEO. How can I make SEF URL? Convert Rus to lat URL?
How to give the search engines pages to a single file where there is a link to it + description + version etc ? Is possible?

Hi,

The file does not have direct URL's you can add automatically in a sitemap.
Though you can exclude a set of URL you don't want and include the one you like (using a sitemap per language).

I use Jsitemap pro - there is no plug-in for dropfiles ,
what do you advise Sitemap?

Google it`s good, but what about yandex.ru ?

The requested resource is in a different address and should be retrieved using a GET method ( get code 303 See Other). If you want the specified page was looking for , it must meet the 200 code .

So do sef url impossible? It`s very bad...
