Hello!

I am very interested in this extension, but I have a question first...

I used to use a DropBox extension/plugin with Joomla, but my company is now switching over to GMail/Google Drive.

In short, what we are looking for is an extension that will allow us to embed/display the full contents of an entire Google Drive folder on any page of the site. This way, anytime a user uploads a file to a particular folder in Google Drive, this file will automatically display on the page of the Joomla site on which this folder is "embedded," so that others can freely come download it.

Additionally (this is less important), we would also like to allow users to upload files to a Google Drive folder from the Joomla site.

However, the catch is, we do not want users to have to create accounts on the Joomla site in order to upload/download files. The old Dropbox<>Joomla plugin we had worked in this way. The results looked somewhat like this (this is the demo): http://www.individual-it.net/component/option,com_dropbox/Itemid,58/view,dropbox/

As you can see, users do not need Joomla accounts in order to download/upload files to and from the DropBox folder via the Joomla page.

Would this plugin allow us to do the same thing with Google Drive?

Thank you so much!

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us. Dropfiles/GG Drive don't allow to strictly "embed" files, it's a tool that sync files between Google Drive and Dropfiles file manager. It mean you can sync a GG Drive folder with a file category (double way sync). You can sync as many folder as you want.

Additionally (this is less important), we would also like to allow users to upload files to a Google Drive folder from the Joomla site.

If you upload files in Dropfiles, files will be sync in your Google Drive.

Your link return a 404 error.

Cheers,
