Hi there,

I swear, that I will buy immediately the whole bundle, if one feature will be added in the dropeditor:

If I want to paste a simple image, via the normal image icon, drop editor shows me only a plain URL field, where I have to add manually the URL to the image. For me that's no big deal, but for my customers it's not possible to handle it.
So please show us here the full functionality, that I can choose a picture out of the standard folders starting at /images.

The folder structure from droppics is not exactley what I want, just the good old folder structure of /images f.f...
Will this feature be part of a future version of dropeditor?

Thx for a reply.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
Will this feature be part of a future version of dropeditor?

We’ll keep that in mind for a future release!

You can add the "insert image" icon in the configuration options. (Don't know why this isn't the default.) o_0

Hi blueshift,

Thanks for your response.
You can add the "insert image" icon in the configuration options. (Don't know why this isn't the default.)

At Dropeditor profiles > Editor tools, you can find Image icon, and Droppics is integrated in DropEditor.
For more information: https://www.joomunited.com/documentation/dropeditor-documentation#toc-6-2-profiles-tools

Hope it helps!
Cheers,

Hi there,

thx, but the icon is not the point. After you click the icon, you have a plain URL field and it's to hard for my customers, to know, what's the right URL.
Here it should be the possibility, to choose the right folder e.g. /mages/galerie-01

I'm not sure why the behavior you are getting is different from mine. When I add the icon to the editor tool bar, the add-image window looks like it does with Tiny or JCE, placing you inside the root 'images' folder complete with the ability to go to folders, add one, etc. (This is not the droppics or droppics-lite editor button; I'm referring to the little icon you would usually find in the toolbar.) See image - to make sure we are talking about the same thing.

Hi blueshift,
thx for your response.
I think we speak about different thinks. It's the problem, that my customer has to insert an URL after pressing the picture-icon (see attachments 01 and 02). For most customers, this is to hard to know. It's absolutely necessary to have integrated the folder view, as you have it in JCE (see 03).

Hope I could explain my worry :-)

Cheers
