Your editor is brilliant. I am using Joomla 4.0.5 with php 7.4.27. As this is a new site only just configured I have now added Akeeba backup which advised me to upgrade php. I changed my php to 8 and checked my site which had suffered a fatal error. I changed back to php 7.4.27 but the site was still down. As DropEditor was the latest addition I disabled it and the site reloaded successfully.

On searching your blog I found this mail so I thought you may like to know the problem. If you require any additional information, please let me know.

DropEditor is working well on Php 8. It could be conflict or something wrong at your site.
Could you please show us more clues about the error on your site? (Screenshot for example)
