dear friends,

i am not able to find the rigjt settings for the caching of different browser types.
speed cache makes no difference between mobile view and desktop view.
by activating speedcache an visit the page with my mobile - i get the mobile view on desktop. an also see the page on desktop a get the desktop view on mobile.
jot cache seems to operate with different cache types for different browsers.

Hi,

I've never encounter this problem on Joomla yet but we did on WordPress.
It usually comes from a theme framework that is not rendering the same content on mobile and desktop (not using only media queries).
In this cas there's 2 options to handle it, develop something specific (takes time and resource but the cache is working) or simply disable the cache on mobile when the framework is detected (usually it's the solution taken).

What theme framework are you using?

Hi,

The problem is that we need to develop something to handle the T3 framework especially. There's a documentation and we're preparing a new major 2.0 version, so we'll see if we can do something about it. We've tested on Gantry and Warp and it seems fine.

ok..tried a lot of settings..removed t3 and switched to joomlart`s simpli... speed cache makes no difference between desktop and mobile browser.
f.e.: after opening the website with desktop chrome - i get the destop view on the mobile.:(
the same in the other direction - cache celared - opending with mobile first, the next user with the desktop browser gets the mobile view:(
may you could specify the correct settings in the documentation.
