Yes it does, the main functionalities are not related to the server you use so it will work.

There is one functionality which require patching the htaccess file to enable expires headers that of course will not be possible under Nginx or IIS servers.
In Nginx or IIS the configuration must be done in configuration files that are only accessible by the server administrator.
