Litespeed Enterprise Server

What are the implications of using the cache plugin with Litespeed Enterprise? Litespeed does not yet have a Joomla extension to handle caching, it is done with rules in htaccess. When a Joomla page is updated the entire cache must be purged (unless you use a cache rule to exclude that page say with a nocache url).
