I just purchased Table Manager. I need to create 170 pages in Wordpress with tables that currently have hyperlinks in them. When I imported a test table from Excel, the links were underlined in Table Manager but they weren't linked anymore. How do I do this?

i was hoping Table Manager could do this too. Say you have a piece of text in a cell "JoomUnited" that is a hyperlink for "http://www.joomunited.com"
when you import the table values into Table Manager can it display the same as the Excel table with an active link

I'd also be keen to find out if you merge some cells in a row (colspan?) in Excel, do the merged cells import properly, i.e. merged

see attached Excel example

As I checked your sample file:
- You should use the Hyperlink function in Excel, then it can work after importing a file to our plugin.
- You can import Excel style including 3 merged cells.

Hope it helps!

The problem with using the Hyperlink function, if I understand it correctly, is that you have to apply it manually for each cell in Excel (even if the link is already there). So you're still having to manually insert links whether it's in Excel or Table Manager. I had to re-link over 1,000 cells...very time consuming.

the advice provided by Assistance seems to contradict this
"You should use the Hyperlink function in Excel, then it can work after importing a file to our plugin."
so if you add the text "JoomUnited" to a cell, right click on (select) the cell and select Hyperlink from the drop down menu, you can enter the URL http://www.joomunited,com
when you import the table the cell should show "JoomUnited" and be a working hyperlink for http://www.joomunited,com
That's my reading of it but i don't have the plugin and haven't been able to test it

This is rather annoying - i cannot seem to be able to import active hyperlinks from excel cells into Table Manager
they appear as blue underlined text but no active link behind them !
have tried inserting hyperlinks into Excel and importing to HTML cells, Data and Style, etc etc etc
it just doesn't seem to work - have opened a support ticket and am awaiting response

You should import manually, please see the sample below:

=HYPERLINK("http://www.joomunited.com","JoomUnited")
