Am I able to populate ACF with a value from the table? If so, how?

Yes, you can select WYSIWYG Editor option in Field Type, please see attachment.
If you encounter any issues, please drop us a ticket (Menu Support > Support ticket).
Our developer in charge will take a look at that.
