Hello I am in need of a Testimonial component that can handle 500 word testimonies. Will this one work for that? Will it open up in a new page when the details button is selected? or will it expand? and can it handle 500 words? thanks

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

Yes, there is no limit for text description. It will stay at the same page when you click on Detail button.

Hope it helps!

is there the ability to add a "read more" button so it will open to it's own page with full text?

in the module we have text cropping available.there you can crop the testimonial length.please check the screenshot.in text cropping in global configuration you can set word limit as well for testimonials view.

so in fact you can set the text crop at 100 words and a read more button will show. after the read more button is selected where does it open up? does it just expand or does it open in a new page? its own page? so if i have 3 testimonies on one page all 500 words and i set the text crop at 100 words and a read more button is there. does it expand on the same page making a long and thin i.e only 5 words per sentence and very long. that would look wrong.

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me with more information.
does it just expand or does it open in a new page?

It will be linked to another page with the full description.
