Hi,

I have some difficulties with certain tasks when managing medias with WP Media Folder:

On medias main admin page, how to see at first glance which folder a media belongs to?
I only found this in the taxonomy column of list view (text indicator, name of the taxonomy).
Can't find a visual indicator in the WP Media Folders column at left, do i miss something?
Otherwise, i have to dive into medias details one by one, and open "Media folders selection" popup.
Not much productive.

I can drag and drop a media to a folder to move it, but can't "copy" it to a new destination AND keep it in its origin folder (one media in multiple folders). Is there a keyboard key to press to achieve this, like CTRL+Drag & Drop in Windows?
It would be very useful and avoid beginner's mistakes.

Maybe enhancements to make in future releases?
Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

You can see the folder tree on your left panel. Please see our demo:
https://www.joomunited.com/wordpress-demo/wp-media-folder/
It could be something wrong in your site, please drop us a ticket (menu Support > Ticket support). Our developer in charge will take a look at that.

Yes, this feature is not implemented yet. We’ll keep that in mind for a future release!
Presently, you can use "Media folders selection" to set files in multi-folders.

Thanks for the reminder about WP Media Folders usage.

I realize my question about visual indicators in the folders tree panel makes no sense, because it's not possible to select medias in grid view.
Clicking on a media opens its details popup and hides the folders tree panel, so it wouldn't be possible to highlight media folder in the panel.
I can switch to list view to see the folders dependency at first glance in the taxonomy column.

One more thing about medias to folders dependency: when i batch select medias and click on "Media folders selection", no folder is selected although medias belong to one or more folder (dependency does not show up), preventing to batch modify multiple dependencies in one action.

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me with more information.
Clicking on a media opens its details popup and hides the folders tree panel, so it wouldn't be possible to highlight media folder in the panel.

I'm not sure what you want to highlight your folders but you can change the color of folder in our plugin.
For more information: https://www.joomunited.com/documentation/wp-media-folder-documentation#toc-2-3-remove-and-edit-folders

We will note that for the future release.

Cheers,
