I'd like for all of my participating members to upload their images to their own folder regardless of how they upload their images. Specifically this would be for bbpress and buddypress which are the default forum/social plugins for WP that specifically deal with user generated content beyond standard blog posts.

To start, I'd like for this to include their avatar(s) and cover images for their member profiles. If you are using buddypress, buddypress would manage this.
But what would be really useful is for for any files they upload into forum posts topics/replies in bbpress so that users have an ongoing collection of images associated with their account that they can reuse as needed as well as create their own galleries.

This is a little complicated because bbpress by default does not include a image uploader. (glaring omission for a forum) But there are many solutions for this including the one that I use:

This feature would be helpful in a few cases like yours. We need to check its usability and technical issues.
We noted that in our planning area.

Thanks a lot!
Cheers,
