Hi there

I've got the WP Media Folder with the Amazon S3 Cloud Addon working well and am happy with that.

I have a suggestion for future development for this plugin...

I am also using a separate plugin from the WP plugins site to remove EXIF data from images: VA Removing Exif

That plugin is very old and is not being updated. It seems to work with WP Media Folder and the Amazon S3 feature, but I'm concerned it might not be reliable if it hasn't got enough time to remove the EXIF before WP Media Folder transfers images to Amazon.

I believe that the best place for such a feature is inside the Media Folder plugin. So the suggestion is to add the ability to remove EXIF/ITPC information from uploaded images.

The above plugin has a GIT Hub page that shows how it is done : GitHub

A further improvement would be if one could choose to remove only the GPS data from the images. This is because the GPS information opens users to being found online. On my BuddyBoss community website, users will be showing photos of their camera collections. They won't want people to know where they live and where the collections are.

Other EXIF information, such as which camera is used and what the settings were, are often quite useful, just not the GPS data.

Thanks for considering this!

This feature is not implemented yet, but I'll add it to our feature request list and keep that in mind for a future release.

Thanks a lot!
Best Regards,
