I am setting up self-managed galleries for photographers and really needed alot of control over where their respective images are stored, especially media access. This all needs to be setup as admin, so I need to create specific folders for each photographer and assign each of these photographers a folder/folders that only they can access. These folders need to be actual physical folders on the ftp. This way all files are organised not just in the frontend but also the backend as well. At the moment, the only way to create folders for users is to create the user, then login as that user. Even then, it's a virtual folder, not a real folder. As I manage the backend of the website, I can't have the files go into the same directory. This is something I desperately need, as photographers all have their own categories, and it helps me manage all of them if I can keep their physical image directories seperate to each other. Is this a feature you'd like to add?
