The software does not currently support manual ordering of the documents within a given category. It's true that you can drag them into the order you desire, but that order is not saved as the options for file ordering take over and replace any ordering you have done. Being able to order the files manually would be of great benefit and was actually the #1 request from my client, as they are using it to display bylaw documents and ordering by title or date does not work for their scenario. I think you should add an option under "Main settings" in "Ordering" for "Manual".

I think you should add an option under "Main settings" in "Ordering" for "Manual".

This feature is already included in our plugin. You can click on Sorting / Filtering > Sort folder > Custom order (see attachment)
And you can order your media files manually.
