Surely there's a better way to handle grouping, sorting & organizing when there are lots of galleries?
Yes, there's 'drag & drop' etc. and I suppose for normal people that's fine, but I've got over 700 galleries
to manage and drag & drop in the tiny left-hand tree view is lame.

Why not parse the first image and the sub-gallery name from each sub-gallery as a thumbnail for the parent gallery?

Hi,

Thanks for adding your feature request here.

We will take a deeper look at your requirement. What do you think about the adjustment of left panel as at Media Library?

Why not parse the first image and the sub-gallery name from each sub-gallery as a thumbnail for the parent gallery?

It could be interesting in some ways, however, the ordering of images could be changed.
So I think the option to set the icon for galleries should be a great idea, alright?

Thanks a lot!

Hey,

I think adding filter & multi-select to the left panel would certainly help. Should be something, when coupled with drag & drop, that's available from all list interfaces, but ya, start with the left panel and let's see what happens.

Setting a default image is okay; kind of a drag when you have 700 galleries and thousands of images. Could use a random select; it keeps the galleries 'fresher' or, offer the user a choice & offer a default behavior. Either way, having the parent directory be able to display the sub-galleries using an image from each sub-gallery & link to them would be very, very useful.
