we have 100 pages which are departments and we will have three users for each page assigned to manage those pages. all users need to see files uploaded to the page by all users assigned to that page.
From what I can see the only way to do this is - create one role for each of the 100 pages so that the folder is created and the users are assigned to it correct? Seems like there should be a better way like creating the folders first and then just assigning users or roles to them for viewing? WPFILEDOWNLOAD works that way so I assumed media folder would also.
Please give us some thoughts on how to best approach this?
another issue is editors must be able to access all media folders and all pages, but currently the admin role is the only role that will allow the viewing of all folders.
