Folders are not visible for a "Shop Manager" User

Yes indeed this is something you can configure by restricting media access by user role (all users from the group Shop Manager will have access to their media) or by user (each user from the group Shop Manager will have access to its own media only).

My question was how to extend to Shop Manager the ability of seeing WP Folder without manually changing the plugin code.

Yes.
A shop Manager can NOT manage/use/see the folders.

If you activate the access limitation by user role, Shop Managers will be able to create folders, manage images bu ONLY in their own folder. They won't have access to all the media.
