Hi girls and guys,

I am missing a very important and neat feature within WP Media Folder Addon:

When I go to "Settings>WP Media Folder>Server folder Sync" I also would like to see my Cloud Drives (In my case Google Drive) on the left side to sync folders with my WP Media Files. Right now, I am only able to sync local server directories with my WP Media files.

Also, I am not very happy with documentation of this part of your software, since I also saw it seems to be possible to sync from my local drive (a screenshot is showing this), but I am not able to so. Maybe ithis is, because I am working on a Mac and not a PC(?). But this is a minor thing for me...

And last, but not least, it would be fine to mark more than one folder at once on the right side for synchronisation... Does not matter for me so much, too, since I want to sync everything inside my Media Folders...

It would be really great to sync media files in both directiions with cloud-drives or ftp-servers, too !!!

I think, this should be fairly easy to implement, since cloud-connectivity is built in within WP Media Folder.

Thx in advance,

Marcus

Hi,

Thanks for adding your feature request here.
When I go to "Settings>WP Media Folder>Server folder Sync" I also would like to see my Cloud Drives (In my case Google Drive) on the left side to sync folders with my WP Media Files. Right now, I am only able to sync local server directories with my WP Media files.

This feature is not included in our Settings. However, you can import your files from your cloud server to your WP Media Folder by following steps:
First, click on Bulk Select button, select your media files. And then click on Import to media library button, choose your folder
Finally, press on Import button to finish. Please go this link below for more information:

Hope it helps!

To be honest, I thought more of a real Sync between them...

I know it is not implemented so far, but it is a feature request, which would be worth to work on.

Thx a lot for you answer.

yes. the google drive gets synced to the library but then in order for google drive to be in the media library, a further import is needed. hence i cannot use woocommerce products as woocommerce needs to have pictures in media library

Hi ahmedbizramp,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

Yes, the sync feature from cloud server is not implemented yet, but you can import files from cloud servers to your Media library.
However, the images can be used directly from Cloud server in WooCommerce products.

If you encounter any issues, please drop us a ticket support, our dev will help you in details.

Thanks a lot!
Cheers,
