Extend - Media rename on upload

Thanks for adding your feature request here.

We are from Sweden here and have ÅÄÖ in our alphabet and are unable to use this function because of that. Would be great if you could add a function that removes/ changes ÅÄÖ to AAO instead. Probably a few more that can´t use this feature because of different characters in there alphabet.

Would also be great just to generate a number for the image name like Facebook or Wix have.

I'm not sure what you really mean. Could you explain more details about your requirement?

we're using the plugin for several years in all our projects and we are very happy with it. But we also have the same problem here in Germany: Our alphabet includes chars like "Ä", "Ö", "Ü" and also an "ß", which is like "ss". The most of our clients are uploading their files with these chars without knowing, that this can make problems when loading the images on websites. So, it would be very useful to have a function within the "auto rename while uploading" of your plugin which changes these chars. The ideal solution would be to have the possibility to define own "rename pairs" to catch all requirements one could have.
