Export the data/media from media library

We will upgrade the Import feature to Import/Export in a future major release: version 5.1 (we are currently in version 4.8.3).

Though it’s hard to give a precise date on new features release for various reasons.
It mainly depends on the development roadmap we've defined for the developer and problems we may encounter during this period

Would this import/export feature allow to mass import galleries from an XML file like one of your competitor do? (cf. https://www.wonderplugin.com/wordpress-grid-gallery/how-to-create-a-wordpress-gallery-from-an-xml-file/)

I am very interested in such feature before purchasing the plugin as I have 500+ galleries to move to a WP website.

Please let me know if this is something achievable in the near future.

Just to make it clear I am not the person who has initiated this thread. I have just joined the conversation as I have the same needs.

My current website with 500+ galleries is a custom development in Symfony that I am going to migrate to Wordpress.

What "WonderPlugin" offers is an importer tool where you can upload an XML that looks like this https://www.nrsoft.co.uk/wonderplugin_sample.xml. Probably don't need as many options but at least an album name and relative path folder to import the images from.

Let me know if this is something achievable in your roadmap before I decide to purchase your solution.

I'm sorry, you can import/export the gallery created by our WP Media Folder Gallery Addon plugin only.

In our plugin, you can not export/import the gallery created by other plugins currently.
