Hi,

It would be possible to ask you for valuable option to display an animated gif when page is open and download 120 thumbnails from the server, it takes 10 seconds, and such animation makes a better experience.

The best option is to use the image lazy loading, that's included in WP Speed of Light Pro version, more info:

In WP Media Folder there's a lazy loading option included too but only the image galleries, not when images are added as single iterations.
