We would really like the ability to be able to show all our files, in the WP File Download plugin, at page load.
We have a large knowledge base which we are presenting for our customers through the WP File Download plugin.
This feature would make it easier for the common user to recognize, that there are actually files you can search through.

Hope to see this feature in the near future.

Best Regards

Hi,

Thanks for adding your feature request here.

This feature would make it easier for the common user to recognize, that there are actually files you can search through.

Your request seems to tend to filter the files rather than search. You can use 2 shortcodes in this case:
One for search engine and one for displaying all files.

Hope this helps!

Hi,
Thanks for this plugin, I also need to do something like that for my project, and on demo I see that not display all files by default, and the solution you propose I think that will display two blocks of files if the person make search because on demo the search result not open on new page.

Best Regards,
Koami.

I agree with Koami. I am testing this way but would be better if all files were loaded by default with search shortcode. I am using for a resource library and landing on a page with just search doesn't make sense. Something like this: https://www.capecodcommission.org/resource-library
