I've configured WPFD to use a default theme when using the
[wpfd_category]
shortcode, so I don't have to setup all theme options every time I create a new category, and because I use the same theme most of the time e.g. Table theme.

But on 1 specific page, I would like to use a different theme. Just this one time.

So I'd like to be able to overrule the default theme, for instance by adding an attribute in the shortcode, i.e.
[wpfd_category id="1" theme="tree"]
.

Hi,

Thanks for adding your feature request here.
I've configured WPFD to use a default theme when using the
[wpfd_category]
shortcode, so I don't have to setup all theme options every time I create a new category, and because I use the same theme most of the time e.g. Table theme.

This feature is so convenient in your situation. We’ll consider it for a future release!

Looks like it's actually fairly simple to add by modifying line 1263 in app/site/filters.php file :

$themename = empty($shortcode_param['theme'])?$category->params['theme']:$shortcode_param['theme'];

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me with more information.

Looks like it's actually fairly simple to add by modifying line 1263 in app/site/filters.php file :

$themename = empty($shortcode_param['theme'])?$category->params['theme']:$shortcode_param['theme'];

We will take a look at this and check its popularity for a version to come.

Thanks a lot!
Cheers,
