Hi,

I've created a Restricted Area for some users that can view some documents in their Personal Area with WP File Download + User Roles.
Now, the problem is that if the user login in their Personal Area and then move to another page of the website (ex /contacts or /services on the primary nav), he can't return on his Personal Area unless he logout and then login another time or insert the specific url on the browser.

Is there a possibility to create a internal nav specific to one user, or a simple link for return on his personal page?

Thanks a lot!

Could you be a little bit more specific? Why do he needs to login again, is it a session problem?

Hi Tristan,

it's not a session problem. It's only a 'conceptual' one because the user can't return to his personal area if he move on another page of the site.
We have some pages (hidden for all, except registered one) for some users that can enter in their personal areas. If one user login, he is linked to his personal area (a private page through 'redirect login/logout') and then if he move to another page of the site (visible at all) he can't return on his personal page, because there isn't a link to his personal home area. Now, he can only rewrite his personal url page on the browser for to return on his personal area.

How I can create a link visible only for specific registered user linked to their private home?

Thanks a lot

OK you mean it would be handy for you to have a pre-defined to the user own files?
In fact we have the plan to create a dedicated feature named user file repository to manage that easily in the future.

Yes, it will be awesome, but my issue maybe is upstream.
Therefore, there isn't a way for the user to enter in his personal area (where we have loaded his documents with WP File Download) if he leave the page?
How he can return on his personal page (http://www.example.com/username) if that page is private? Only writing the url on the browser?

I think my problem is connected with some settings relative to create the personal area for the users.
