German translation

Hi,

We currently don't have the German language but WP File Download is using WordPress standard language files (.po/.mo).
You can translate it if you want. Do you want me to give the .pot file to generate it? Are you familiar with that?

Not yet, but a good idea
But i can only test with version 2.3, without the additionnal language strings.
I think this will be done tomorrow.

BTW: Im using media folder too. A few strings are english. When you give me the german .po, ill translate the rest, ok?

Yes of course I will include the pot in the package too adn send you the German file here.
Let me ask that to the dev in charge.

About WP File download, we should release the new version today or tomorrow, I will send you back the updated files with the (few) missing lines to translate. Please make a try on live with your file it's better.

Because you've translated the plugins I will extend your memberships to 6 month (this is the rule here).

Im tested it and it looks pretty nice. But not all strings supported yet, right? A few of my translated strings are still in english, hope the new version fix this.
Im updated some strings to fit better. When the new version goes online, ill post the .po & .mo here again.
What means ggd Theme? Theme is clear, but what means ggd in detail?

But im tested and corrected my translation, looks fine into WP.

But as by wpfd, not all string supported. Thats really annoying!!

im updated to wpfd 3.4.1 and the most strings are translated, but here are the missing ones:

Colums at the top right
Config and User Role in the left adminmenue
Complete box on click at add remote file incl. buttons
The values of theme at the right panel
Date format under the date format input field
Treetheme: Show background title tag
Delete dialog, the buttons
Dialog from Default theme per category
Whole dialog in the user role options without the save button and the title
File import complete dialog
preview values in the mainparameters


What does Close Categories do? I dont find any sense to these option.
