Hi, here are my feature suggestions;

1/ Some of our clients are not technical and often get bored/scared with the WordPress busy backend to upload file WP D. You can improve on the frontend upload, which will allow a user with a certain privilege to log in, upload file(s), assign them to categories of choice. Allow them to set the file hit counts (see no. 2 suggestion below) and publication date, file type, icon, tags, multicategory, etc.

2/ Allow super admin to enable/disable modification of file hits in case of migrating from an old website to a new design or upgrade, where there is a need to maintain the.

3/ Allow user/uploaders to assign tags to multiple files at once. For example, the user can select a folder and assign a tag to all the containing files. It happened to me when I moved more than 400 files from the old website to a new design; I had to assign the tags for each file in each category painfully.

I hope this will help many of us :)

Hi,

Thanks for adding your feature request here.

We are going to implement this in version 5.1, then a user can select and upload files to categories corresponding to his permission.

Yes, The hit counter modification would be an interesting feature in a few cases as yours.
Currently, you can edit publication date, file type, icon, tags, multicategory at backend.

3/ Allow user/uploaders to assign tags to multiple files at once. For example, the user can select a folder and assign a tag to all the containing files. It happened to me when I moved more than 400 files from the old website to a new design; I had to assign the tags for each file in each category painfully.

We’ll consider this feature for a version to come but at backend would be more possible than on frontend.

Anyways, we noted your requests in our planning area.

Thanks a lot!
Cheers,
