With regard to the way 'wp file download' has the files organized, what do I have to wipe off exactly given a user's category is to be deleted? The attachment file, the file categories? Or does wpfd offer a routine to delete a parent category and its files along with all children by a single function call? If so, which one and how to parametrize it?

This feature is not implemented yet, but I'll add it to our feature request list and keep that in mind for a future release.
