Hi,I’d like to request a feature related to email notifications on file uploads.
Use case: We are using WP File Download in an internal company environment with multiple employees. Each employee has a private folder (category), accessible only to them, and should receive email notifications only when files are uploaded to their own folder.
We also have a shared folder (a “notice board”) where all employees should be notified when a file is uploaded.
Current limitation: At the moment, email notifications can be configured either by category or by user role, but not using a combined logic. When notifications are enabled by user role, emails are also sent for uploads in private categories, which is not desired.
Requested feature: Add the possibility to configure email notifications using an AND logic, for example: "Notify users with role X only when a file is uploaded to category Y"- This would allow much more flexible and realistic workflows for internal teams and companies using WP File Download as a document management system.
Thank you
