Thanks for adding your feature request here.

It would be very helpful to have the option to see if a user has downloaded a document or not. For example change the download color to red after it has been downloaded.

To change the download button color feature sounds so interesting. However, we need time to take a look at that.
Anyways, we’ll keep that in mind for a future release!
