Default hide WP File Download search page

I'd like to see a parameter added in settings, preset to NO, for the creation of the automatically created search page [https://example.com/wp-file-download-search/] rather than having to set the page manually to private in Wordpress backend. I'm pretty sure users don't even realize this page is automatically created as I haven't found clear references to it in the product documentation.
I often use this plugin to create private areas (using non-WP user login protected sections/pages) and don't want to allow anybody who knows this URL to be able to search & download any files loaded onto my sites.
