Hi,
I am using Relevanssi to do search on my website. However, that plugin can only index PDFs that are stored in the Wordpress Media Library. Is it possible to change the default upload folder of WP File Download to the Media Library folder? Or is there another way to do PDF content searching?
Thanks for your help!

#11697 Hi,
Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.
It's impossible to change the default upload folder, but you can search PDF content with our WP File download.

Hope it helps!

Hi,
I am using this plugin in a headless Wordpress, so I try to integrate all the search using Relevanssi and its Rest API. Relevanssi can only search PDFs that are attachment post, so is it possible to change the files post type from 'wpfd_files' to 'attachment'?
Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for answering. I just came up with another approach to this problem. Can I use the AJAX request in your plugin to do the PDF search? I can write a custom service to do the search, so that I can still use both of your plugins. Both plugins are awesome and I really don't want to give up on one of them.
If I can use the AJAX request, can I have a hint on how to find that request in your codes?
Thanks!
