Get data from external database

Thanks for adding your feature request here.

It would be great if Droptables could have an option to get data from another (non-Joomla) MySql database on the same server.
This would be really useful.

This feature is not implemented yet, but I'll add it to our feature request list and keep that in mind for a future release.

Hi, I need this exact feature too. In my joomla site I have three different databases and I need to be able to connect to them to get data.
Please, as soon as you release this feature, let me know, it's very urgent. I will continue to check this forum for any replies. Thank you.
