Export filtered results in table to excel, (just the filtered data)

I have a megatable formed form a DB query, using DT, Joomla 4, I think it will be great if after a filter is applied to the resulting table the download table button just download the filtered data.
This will be helpful in cases where I need to filter information for specific customers and don't want to export information about other customers, hidden rows or columns will cause a problem since the unhide function will reveal the whole chunk of data.
