Download button

Thanks for adding your feature request here.

A nice added feature would be the ability to be able to download the content of the table (potentially with existing filters applied) to Excel or CSV, vis a button on the rendered page.

Yes, this could be useful in some cases. BTW, the download button for a table on frontend is clear.
However the filter, do you want to download the filtered rows only?

Yes, maybe one button to download the entire table and one to download the existing filtered subset. Or just one button with a variable label, that is labelled 'Download' or 'Download subset' depending on whether a filter has been applied.
