Resize and cut in one time when importing

I'm sorry, you cannot resize image when importing now. We will note this feature for future release.

I am sorry, but i think i said incorrect. Under "import" I mean UPLOAD from PC..

How i can apply custom size for THumbnails?
I am upload many pictures and after some pictures need to resize or crop. but i can set custom size only for thumbs? or for main picture? thanks

there explaining why i am asking.
1.
look:
added Horisontal and Vertical pictures.
Thumbs size set on W300-H200.
Uploaded many pictures.

Horisontal pict is OK, but Vertical resized by priority on Height, and it's now 200px of the height.
but when we looking on the front, we see, that module arrange pictures by WIDTH! why? if it's arranging by width, why they don't resizing with priority on width? as you see, picture zoomed to 300px width (from 133px) with height 200px (zoomed to 400px approx)

can you fix - when one of the fields (in uploading dimensions) is empty - it's can by any. and prior on the filed window. for example: if i am entered ONLY width (300) - height can by ANY. and if height filed, width can by ANY.

Thanks for your response.
1. The thumbnails dimension is valid if your orginal images dimension is higher than that. It could not be enlarged your width of image when you resize it to small dimension.
2. Normally, it could adjust automatically, if your width or height is blank. And you can enable Responsive images feature in Main parameters tab settings.
