I think it would be great if we had the option to change the directory name where the images are stored. That way we could create a directory in our language, making it easier and intuitive for the client.
Currently we have: images/com_droppics (This is not very intuitive for customers)
For example, it would be much more intuitive if i could store the images in the "gallery" or "image-gallery" directory. I'm thinking of the client side and the possibility of reusing images in any part of the system. This way, it would be possible to use droppics as the best option to store the system images...
Regarding conflicts with other extensions, the change would be optional, ie by default it continues "com_droppics" (which in my view should be just "droppics";)
Well, I find droppics the best option for image gallery, the more possibility of adaptation, the more complete the tool.

Congratulations!!

Hi,

This is indeed a good idea, I'll add that as a new feature for a future release. :)

I would like to thank you for adding the change function of the root directory name ... This shows your good work and respect the requests of the users.
Small details often can make a big difference. And in my case it will, because this was a request from several clients that I can now make.

Sincerely, thank you!

Hi marben,

Is possible add this option for Dropfiles too? (ex. images/files)

It is impossible now in Dropfiles. We’ll keep that in mind for a future release!

Thanks a lot!
Cheers,
