Support requested I make the suggestion here:
I'd like to suggest a more enhanced permission feature where each 'Gallery' created can be assigned a standard Joomla category and the ACL is used to control access to relevant users. This way some galleries can be hidden from users as needed.
At present users have access to all images (although editing can be prevented) or only access to their own images.
The present system makes it difficult for multiple users to share access to a site's news blog.
eg a simple example with three users
master_user1
blog_user1
blog_user2
The site has two sections for images.
1. Galleries of past events.
Only master_user1 should have access to these images.
2. A news blog
All three users should have access to all images in this section.
All three can edit / delete etc the images here, including other users images.
Thanks for considering.
