Change galeries physical names

Thanks for adding your feature request here.

Today, shen we use DroPics, names given into DropPics galeries and physical names are diffrent...see attached file.
If I create a galerie called TOTO the pysical name could 10, 20 or 30 ... a number!
But If end user wants to add images to his articles thanks to intro/default text joomla native feature, he can't.....because when you have a lot of galeries, impossible to guess what is the right number related to your galeries.
So how to solve this? Do you have an idea?

Yes, I got this issue. This feature is needed in the situation as described above or when inserting images directly from the server.
As some same users' request, we will consider it as a higher piority for the future version.

I got some request from customer about this issue because when they use joomla articles, they don't know where are their images as older are named with numbers instead of being named with real galery name.
Do you know when this correction will be published?

As you know, we have a bunch of other features need to be done first.
I think this issue can overcome easily by clicking to view the images inside those folders.
And the preview feature helps your users check the images more conveniently.

yes for the moment, this is the only solution.
I understand you have other features and you cannot do all the features at the same time.
but have an idea about the target version concerned by this correct? and when ? approx?
in fact, the same bug is present on DropFiles

any idea about roadamp for this feature?

I'm sorry to come back to you again but I got a lot of complaints about this topic/feature.
users who where already using classic joomla media manager and articles images, now cannot finf their images because they are named with numbers intsead of real galery name.
do you have an idea about implementation about that or not?
for me, this behavior is like a bug...to be honest I don't understand the logic why naming folders as numbers instead of their real name?
and If you correct this point, how to roll back for all folders/galeries already created and all images links already done? they will be broken?

have you got news or a plan for this feature?
because many of my users are using IMAGES & LINKS tab on joomla articles and as they have a lot of folders/galeries, this is very complex to find the right folder with numbers.
would be verry helpful to create images folders with real name and not numbers.
this is a big big big problem....
