The component looks really ugly in IE7.
However, since IE7 is still actively supported by MS, it would be great if CSS and JS also work in older (supported) browsers.

Hi Franck,

IE7 is still supported by Microsoft but this version is used by less of 1% of users: http://gs.statcounter.com/#browser_version_partially_combined-ww-monthly-201308-201310-bar.

Maintaining this kind of browser needs too much work, hacks and many support for less than 1% users.
We are not the only one to do this, google dropped the support for ie7 but Joomlabamboo and Yootheme and many others too.
