Front End upload - category selection

I really like the look and feel of this component. There is one feature that is crucial for me which is that a front end user can select from a list of categories. An ability for a front end user to create a category would be excellent as well. Does Dropfiles support this? I have been playing with it but haven't seen that selecting a category from the front end is an option. It seems that the user can only upload to the category selected in the menu item. Maybe I'm missing something or is this not an option at this point?
