- File location base change: yes it's complicated but planned
- "Possibility to import a complete structure of files and maps, maps becoming new (sub-)categories": what do you mean by files and maps?
- Possibility to drag and drop / copy and paste files between categories: planned too
- Possibility to make an excel dump with all category / file data: you mean export the tree of category and files with links?
- Possibility to use ACL groups on categories and files: currently we are using access level because it's more appropriate for files categories. Most of the user want to hide category of files. Could be a good stuff on single file to use group.

We just send newsletter on main version, now you have an update notification on backend (can be disabled). The best way to keep informed about each minor version is twitter or facebook page.

Using Import in category (advanced option active) drop files shows a file tree. It is possible to select one or more files. It would be nice to select a complete folder from this tree. The name of the folder - and folders within the folder - becoming a new category within drop files.

The excel dump should only be a dump from al the content in your dropfiles_files table. Links are not needed.

I would really like to see those features in dropfiles aswell. Especially:
- Possibility to drag and drop / copy and paste files between categories
Because at the moment, to restructure my files I always have to download them again and upload them into another category.

- Possibility to use ACL groups on categories and files
I would really like to give certain users the right to edit certain categorys but having some categorys protected from edition.

- Possibility to view the same category in different views (eg. same category as tree-theme and table-theme).

Are some of these features planned or coming soon?
