a simple password function would be great!
We often have download files that can be downloaded with a coupon code, users get the code when they buy our print magazines or in a newsletter.
The user should click on the file in the "Download for magazine readers" section of our website, enter the code (a secret word) and the download starts.
Up to now, we have solved this in an elaborate way with a separate user, whom we then assign to the respective magazine issue number (e.g. 01/2021).
But now the user has to enter a username and the code.
We always write this in a help text: Username = 01/2021 and the secret word is there password.
But the effort is too high for us. We have 21 magazines!
