change absolute URL to a file

hello,

Is it possible, for a future version, to change files path?
I'm working on a test wesite for a customer before moving it to production mode on another server.
Thanks to DropEditor, I have inserted links to files.
But when I check SOURCE mode, I see that the file path contain the test domain name.

This is not logic to use the entire URL to create file path like this : http://mywebsite.com/files/category/9/myfile.pdf

the domain name should not be integrated to URL normally.

because today, it's additionnal work to correct all the links after website migration.
