Hi,

I'm really satisfied with the dropfiles component. It works pretty well and it looks amazing.

The only thing I'm missing are proper access rights for the file manager. I'm developing a Joomla Site for a team of doctors which are sharing files over the platform. They need to upload, delete, move and download files. The only way to do this is over the "File Manager". But here I can't do settings for user groups to access only specific folders.
I know that I can set access rights for the download section but in the "File Manager" these settings don't apply.

My suggestion for the next version:
Make proper access rights. It would improve your component really a lot. Now it can be used as a download area for guests but not as a file sharing platform. With access rights also for admins it is possible to use dropfiles in many applications.

Thanks a lot and have a nice day.

Best regards,
Dominik

How are requests like this treated? Can I assume that this issue is fixed in near future release? It depends a lot on my project and up to me, this could help a lot of other applications too.

Thanks for your answer.

Best regards,
Dominik
